What is MBSR?
MBSR is a structured, evidence-based 8-week program that teaches mindfulness through meditation, gentle movement, and body awareness to help manage stress, chronic pain, illness, and everyday overwhelm.
At its core, MBSR helps you build the skill of mindfulness — learning how to pay deliberate, non-judgmental attention to what’s happening right now: your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations — so you can respond more skillfully instead of reacting automatically.
What participants often gain:
• Greater self-awareness and emotional regulation
• Tools to navigate life with more steadiness and clarity
• A deeper sense of well-being that carries into daily life
• A new and different relationship with stress
